Fused Silica
Description:
Fused silica is manufactured with the highest purity silica sand by electrically fusing furnace (fusing temperature 1720-2300℃) to amorphous silicon dioxide, then specially engineered ingots, granular and flour form designed for different usage. Its appearance is colorless and transplanted; a bit of them will transplant frog shape.
Features:
Fused silica has the special features of consistent chemistry,excellent thermal shock resistance, hard wearing,low thermal expansion, high purity, low thermal conductivity, low electrical conductivity and many other excellencies.
Applications:
Fused silica is widely used in refractory, ceramic materials, investment casting, shell mould product, EMC (epoxy compound) filler, paint.
